Lifetime Assistance Inc, a leader in the provision of services to persons with developmental disabilities is looking for a female or a couple (one of which must be a female), who are interested in being certified as Family Care providers to share their lives and a home with two individuals in the Byron area. The person would be certified as a Family Care Provider and would move into the individual’s home.
In exchange for providing support and assistance as needed, the Family Care Provider(s) would receive a stipend and would live in the individuals’ home. The applicant MUST have an income source, and be able to support themselves. Job hours cannot be a second shift or overnight.
Some of the responsibilities would include administering medications, assisting with making and transporting to medical appointments, monitoring nutrition needs, and getting the individuals out into the community, and actively participate in community activities. The Family Care Provider(s) would be required to attend free training, as well as on-going and annual training in order to become certified as a Family Care Provider.
