Lifetime Assistance Hosted 9th Annual Empowerment Summit
Lifetime Assistance hosted 200 people at its 9th Annual Empowerment Summit last week. The event focused on promoting self-advocacy, personal growth, and inclusion for people supported by the Agency, providing them with valuable resources, skills, and inspiration to lead more independent and empowered lives.
The Summit was kicked off by keynote speaker, Dan Mason, General Manager of the Rochester Red Wings, alongside special guest, Spikes. Session topics ranged from self-advocacy and rights to the voting process and the upcoming election, to smart technology and artificial intelligence programing.
“As an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we believe that empowerment starts with giving people the tools and confidence to be their own best advocates,” said Bryan O’Donovan, President and CEO of Lifetime Assistance. “This summit is an opportunity to celebrate the strengths and capabilities of the extraordinary people we support while also providing practical knowledge and strategies to help them thrive in their personal and professional lives.”
Lifetime Assistance thanks the following corporate partners for their sponsorship and support of the Agency and the Empowerment Summit – Brown & Brown, The Bonadio Group, and Upstate Pharmacy.
