Rochester, NY— August 29, 2024 – Lifetime Assistance, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of its Employee Career Development Scholarship Program, designed to support the educational and professional development of its dedicated workforce.

“As an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we recognize the critical role played by our team members in delivery high-quality care and support.,” said Bryan O’Donovan, President and CEO of Lifetime Assistance. “By investing in the professional growth of our team members, we aim to create a supported path for career development and ultimately better enhance the quality of life for those we have the privilege to serve.”

The program was built by the Lifetime Assistance Foundation Committee, comprised of several volunteers and donors, and is supported by the generosity of donors dedicated to creating opportunities for growth and advancement. The scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible employees who wish to pursue higher education or professional certifications in fields that align with their career goals and the mission of the Agency.

The first cohort of ten scholarship recipients were honored at a luncheon last week, celebrating their commitment and dedication to advancing their career and their ability to best serve the changing needs of the incredible people we support. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth among its employees.
